the golden age of the reign of Queen Elizabeth I and beyond,
when armored knights traveled the countryside competing for fortune and fame,
these festivals were a time of celebration, revelry and merriment for all of the kingdom. The lush, tree-filled shire of Enchanted (magically transported to
central Door County, WI) will be a re-creation of a 12th -16th Century European Country Market Faire with some whimsical characters from lore and legend
thrown in for your entertainment pleasure.
For all who long for childhood days of make-believe and enchantment,
a time of gallant knights on dashing steeds, faire ladies & fairies,
brazen wenches, & damsels in distress, wizards & dragons, merry men & minstrels, gypsies, royalty and the like...we cordially invite you to join us as history comes to life in the magical shire of Enchanted. The age of romance, chivalry and adventure will be recreated among the wonders of nature in this idyllic Door County setting.

to the Faire where you will be able to shop; try your hand at archery; eat and revel with a cast of colorfully costumed, exotic & intriguing characters; catch a glimpse of times past (or possibly a unicorn or fairy), and lose yourself in the

You will cheer your champion knight at the Joust Arena; feast like a King on a cornucopia of hearty food and drink a plenty; delight in the antics of street performers; hear musicians playing authentic period instruments; and watch demonstrations of the time-honored arts of weaving, coin minting, spinning, sculpting, glass blowing, pewter and blacksmithing, and leather crafting. You will discover an enchanted place where Fairy-tales become flesh and fantasy takes flight but BEWARE the Dragon!
